Job Description: Critical Care Sedation Specialist
Pediatric Anesthesia Associates Medical Group and Pediatric Critical Care Consultants (PAAMG) is recruiting board certified pediatric critical care medicine specialists to provide sedation services at Valley Children's Hospital (VCH) in Madera, California.
In addition to providing coverage for two pediatric intensive care units, the division of critical care medicine runs a sedation service that we are looking to expand with dedicated pediatric critical care medicine trained sedation specialists. The expansion will include endoscopy and MRI sedation with potential future coverage of interventional radiology. Candidates must be board certified in pediatric critical care medicine, eligible for license in California, and possess superior clinical skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to comply with standardized practices.
This opportunity is for a full-time or part-time sedation specialist who will do sedations Monday through Friday with potentially no night and weekend call. The compensation package is excellent and includes a full array of benefits and maximizes retirement plans. Depending on the candidate, there is the opportunity for some work (up to 20% PICU and 80% sedation) in one of our pediatric intensive care units as well.
PAAMG is a forty physician two-specialty group consisting of pediatric anesthesiologists and pediatric critical care medicine specialists providing coverage for sedation, anesthesia, and PICUs.
