Job Description:

The Department of Child Health at the University of Missouri is seeking applicants for Director in the Division of Critical Care.
Responsibilities:
• Patient care in the PICU
• Involvement in a thriving sedation service
• Teaching of residents and medical students
• Clinical research activity is pursued and encouraged.
• The Director will lead the division's clinical, research and educational services as well as provide leadership to foster the growth and expansion of the division.

The PICU is a 13-bed unit with multiple pediatric specialties including active general surgery, neurosurgical, ENT, orthopedic surgery and plastic surgical programs. There are approximately 1000 admissions/year. The multi-disciplinary team consists of residents, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, social workers and dietitians. A team of individuals dedicated solely to pediatric transport provides mobile intensive care services to our region.
Candidates with additional training in Anesthesiology, Cardiology or Pulmonary medicine are also encouraged to apply.
