Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a cardiac-trained Pediatric Intensivist to join our team of 7 physicians on our multidisciplinary pediatric critical care unit. Dedicated to family-centered Care, the Children's Center at Presbyterian encompasses both inpatient and outpatient services for specialty pediatric care. Our dedicated Pediatric intensive care, pediatric inpatient unit, including an exclusive oncology floor, NICU, and a thriving multispecialty clinic are all co-located at our flagship campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our comprehensive program also includes Child Life services, that provide activities, socialization, therapy, and other services for children and families. Rachel's Courtyard - a colorful, whimsical playground in the sky extends from the hospital's sixth-floor pediatric unit. Practice Highlights • Thriving multispecialty clinic setting provided pediatric cardiology, endocrinology, ENT, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, surgery, behavioral medicine, pulmonology, hematology/oncology, chronic care, and radiology services • 24x7 hospitalist service provides 116 beds combined among NICU, PICU, and pediatric unit • Pediatric urgent care clinics, staffed with pediatricians and pediatric nurses to care for ill children • Systemwide EPIC electronic medical record system What We're Seeking • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school • Successful completion of a pediatric intensive care fellowship from an accredited school or institution • Must be proficient in the care of Pediatric CVICU patients • Ideally proficient in the management of pediatric and adult ECMO • ABP Board certification or eligibility in critical care medicine • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico • Ideal candidate has trained or practiced with a program that sees 200-250 cases of heart surgery per year and a PIC of 25-30 beds We offer all employees a robust, day-one effective benefits plan consisting of medical, dental, vision and more.
