Job Description:
We are currently contracted to provide pediatric critical care physician services to a 22-bed PICU at El Paso Children's Hospital in El Paso, TX.Currently we have two physicians during the day and one at night and a senior resident 24/7.We are looking to add 2nd physician at night and 4 physicians to cover our new 10 bed IMC unit.
Peds Intensivists of America, PLLC, a private company, managed and owned by physicians. We contract with hospitals and physician groups to provide full and part time physicians in pediatric specialties, including Critical Care.
We are seeking total 6 more pediatric critical care physicians to cover PICU and IMC Units.
We are planning to Start ECMO and CV surgery programs in near future, therefore physicians with these experiences are preferred but not required as further training will be provided if needed.
Full-time positions are preferred but part time can be considered.
Pediatric Critical Care Physicians are responsible for overseeing the care of critically ill pediatric medical, surgical and trauma patients, provide medical treatment, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with medical teams to deliver comprehensive care and overseeing/teachinng residents, nurse practitioners and students as needed.
- Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care
- Valid TX State medical license and DEA registration
- Strong clinical skills, knowledge of medical procedures, and patient care best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care for pediatric patients
