The Division of Critical Care Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine is seeking a faculty member to join our team on the clinical educator track.
Critical Care Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital is a 30-member group with diverse academic and clinical interests. We have a robust pediatric critical care medicine fellowship program and superb clinical infrastructure.
The Pediatric ICU at Nationwide Children’s Hospital is a 54-bed multi-disciplinary quaternary care unit with the full array of medical and surgical subspecialty patients and providers. This unit, combined with our 20-bed Cardiothoracic ICU, sees approximately 3,000 admissions per year with outstanding ICU-specific resources for collaborative research.
Qualified candidates for this position will be BC/BE in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine with a strong track record of outstanding clinical care, teaching, and participation in clinical and/or translational research. Faculty members of all ranks are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include the provision of clinical care in the pediatric ICU; medical student, resident, and fellow teaching; and publication of scholarly work. The division has 7-day/week on-site coverage with clinical research coordinators as well as divisional biostatistical resources to help ensure the academic success of the faculty.
