Job Title: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Physician
Location: Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health/K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center
Position: Full-time
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric critical care physician to join our team at the K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a commitment to quality patient care, and a passion for teaching.
Our busy 10-bed pediatric ICU is staffed by in-house pediatric ICU physicians. We offer a dynamic and supportive environment that fosters professional growth, with numerous opportunities for research, mentorship, and academic advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to resident and medical student education
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Engage in research and academic projects (optional)
Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Completion of pediatric residency and pediatric critical care fellowship
Board certification or eligibility in pediatric critical care Medicine
Active NJ medical license or ability to obtain one
Strong communication and teamwork skills
