Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children is seeking a Medical Director for our Pediatric Intensivist Program to relocate to Huntsville, AL and join our program. We have an 11-bed PICU covered by a well established group. We serve a 1.25 million person draw area in northern Alabama and southern Tennessee

Stand-alone facility established in 2002 dedicated to caring for women, infants, children, and adolescents
Dedicated 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalist Team
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital affiliate clinic for Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, one of only 8 in the US
Subspecialist include Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Pulmonary, Cardiology, Neurology, GI, Urology, Endocrinology, and Ophthalmology
One of a kind in the region with a 16-bed Pediatric ER
70 bed Level III NICU
36-bed Pediatric Inpatient facility.
Requirements for Applicants:
Work independently and able to manage complex critical care patients
Technically skilled to perform direct daily multidisciplinary rounds
Involvement in education of our Nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and our transport team
Ideal candidate would have at least 3 years post fellowship experience, but not required
BC/BE required
