POCUS for the Pediatric Clinician
Our two-day course (5/1-2/2025 Thr-Fri) on comprehensive POCUS to cover cardiac, lung, abdomen, vascular ultrasound with special topics in airway and neurology.
For the course, we are planning to invite visiting faculty with special experience in ultrasound imaging, neonatology, advanced procedural techniques, and echocardiography.
Topics covered will include guided procedures, focused cardiac, pulmonary & abdominal imaging. This also includes assessment of hemodynamics, respiratory failure, basic ECMO, and cardiac arrest.
Learning will be both didactic and hands-on with ultrasound machines and models as well as with case-based simulation. The audience will be APPs and physicians who care for children across specialties. CME Credit will be available as well as a continental breakfast, lunch, and parking.
Registration is $615 for physicians not affiliated with Texas Children’s Hospital, and $475 categorical registration for Texas Children’s Hospital faculty, trainees, and advanced practice providers.
