The PICU at Randall Children's Hospital in Portland, OR is currently recruiting an additional intensivist to join our close-knit team of 9 physicians and 2 APPs. This is a unique opportunity to provide high acuity care in our busy 24 bed non-academic tertiary PICU. Responsibilities would include clinical duties and at home call coverage as well as administrative and quality work. Our clinical services include ECLS, CRRT, advanced ventilator modalities including VDR ventilation, a busy pediatric critical care transport service, and provision of collaborative management with numerous pediatric surgical and sub-specialty services. We are a combined unit that provides post operative care to approximately 110 post op cardiac cases per year in close collaboration with our cardiology colleagues.
Our ideal candidate would have strong cardiac ICU training and experience but enjoys caring for the general PICU population.
