The Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship program at the University of Minnesota, Masonic Children's Hospital has an opening for a PGY-4 in the 2024-2025 academic year. The ideal candidate will start July 1, 2024 with plan to complete 3 year fellowship training toward board certification.
The Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program provides broad-based training in the practice of pediatric critical care medicine. Our primary training site, M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital, is a nationally recognized children's hospital with 24 Pediatric ICU beds. The hospital serves a diverse urban and suburban population. Our fellowship has the steadfast commitment to provide trainees with high quality, comprehensive training in preparation for academic careers in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. The PICU serves active programs in pediatric cardiac surgery, bone marrow and solid organ transplantation. The secondary training site, Hennepin County Medical Center, is a level 1 pediatric trauma and burn center, and the safety net hospital for the area. Pediatric Critical Care fellows participate actively in the multidisciplinary teams responsible for the care of those patients. The division of Pediatric Critical Care has faculty actively engaged in a broad range of scholarly work including ethics, device innovation, simulation, ECMO, coagulation, global health, advocacy and child maltreatment.
