Job Description:

The Department of Pediatrics at the University at Buffalo (UB), the John R. The multidisciplinary team consists of physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), nurses, dedicated respiratory therapists, clinical pharmacists, social workers, child life specialists and nutritionists, all working together to provide outstanding, family-centered care. In addition, medical and surgical subspecialists from a multitude of disciplines are immediately available to the team, lending their expertise across a spectrum that includes neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, acute and chronic respiratory failure, hematologic and oncologic emergencies, and multi-organ dysfunction in the setting of severe sepsis. The PICU also serves as the critical care arm of support for the region's only Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center, 1 of only 40 centers to earn that designation in the entire country.

The new, 20-bed private room PICU at the Oishei Children's Hospital in downtown Buffalo, NY is part of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
