As part of its efforts to expand its scholarly and clinical activities, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine is currently seeking candidates for a faculty position in its Division of Critical Care Medicine.
Duties include patient care in the Pediatric ICU at USA Health Children's and Women's Hospital, the primary regional referral center, as well as sedation services outside the OR, including but not limited to radiology suite, and teaching allied healthcare profession students, medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities for clinical and/or basic research are available. Level of appointment is open to Assistant Professor and Associate Professor and will be commensurate with experience and academic productivity. Salary and benefits are competitive.
